Sarah of Enderslea Farm is now published

Its really exciting to have published a first book. Scriptwriter and actress Jenny Davis has written 2 plays that Diane Pope commissioned and performed at Enderslea Farm. A third was performed at Government House. These are now published under the collection title SARAH OF ENDERSLEA FARM. This is the name of the first play that was originally performed in the stone Barn built by ticket-of-leave men at Enderslea Farm. The play was first performed on the 21st and 22nd September 2013, during the National Trust Heritage Festival, to great success. Sarah Morley discusses her experiences in the Swan River Colony between 1830 when she arrived as a servant with her husband Henry Morley, and 1853 when a ticket-of-leave man Daniel Baughan wants to marry her daughter. Because of its success I was encouraged to commission Jenny to write a second play called RED FLOWERING GUMS. This was performed for the first time on May 2nd this year 2015. Again during this year’s National Trust Heritage Festival. All seats were sold and it was just as popular as Sarah of Enderslea Farm. So now the book is published by Hesperian Press and is available for sale at
