I’m just back from a wonderful holiday in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. I always like to visit Antique Markets when I’m away and I quite like American Antiques. One reason is that I lived in North Carolina, USA for 15 years. The main reason however is that Americans visited the Swan River Colony from its earliest years. At first they were Whaling and then Gold fossicking and always Americans were exporting their goods. So I persuade myself that the Morleys might have used these items This trip I bought a 100 year old Apple peeler and also an Apple corer. The sort of gadgets that are screwed on to the kitchen tables. I have a large collection now of Kitchenalia a lot of which my husband considers rubbish. I’m trying to convince him to value these items as I do.
